Pyrite Cluster

No. 1103

An extraordinary pyrite cluster from Peru, composed of intergrown golden cubes of different sizes, all perfectly arranged to form a striking and sculptural piece. Some areas display touches of dark hematite, creating a beautiful contrast against the metallic gold tones.

Admired since ancient times, pyrite is often called “Fool’s Gold” for its brilliant golden lustre and resemblance to real gold. This specimen captures that same brilliance — bold, radiant, and timeless.
