AMETHYST AND DARK GREY DRUZE STALACTITE FORMATIONS

An impressive half geode displayed on a stylish and decorative metal stand, this piece is an amethyst dark grey druze, with beautiful multiple stalactite formations. The edges of this beautiful mineralogical piece have been polished, and so it is possible to appreciate a layer of green celadonite, cream and grey agate and white quartz on top of the rough basalt. This elegant assemblage of colour is dusted with a layer of white quartz, giving the piece a sparkling final touch. Some stalactites have been polished, revealing a wonderful mix of colours due to the mineral combination involved. The bottom of the piece maintains its rough basalt condition, allowing us to imagine how it was spotted and formed inside the cavities of volcanic rock, millions of years ago. This stunning piece its very decorative, due to the shape, size and the easy to combine grey colour.
