A stunning deep purple amethyst piece with calcite formation. From the rough basalt on the outside, to the high quality rich purple amethyst crystals inside and calcite formation, this piece presents an exquisite combination of minerals on a sculptural journey. The outer layer is the rough basalt and the edges are all polished revelling brown agate, green celadonite and white quartz. All of this frames a very deep purple amethyst formation with glimmering crystals and a beautiful calcite formation. The calcite itself is overlaid with white quartz and has glimpses of black hematite. The natural sculpture is freestanding, and is a stunning, decorative piece.
