An extraordinarily large agate slice with a gorgeous mix of minerals, highlighting amethyst, white quartz, and calcite formations. This piece is a multicoloured slice due to the combination of minerals presented within it. The front section has been completely polished, revealing the beautiful mix of colour; of white quartz, purple amethyst, cream calcite, brown agate, grey agate and green celadonite. All the minerals form a stunning mosaic in this piece, and reflect the beauty of a natural wonder. The border of the piece presents traces of the rough basalt and the back of the piece is in its natural rough state, allowing us to imagine how it was spotted within the rough basalt matrix, and how it was formed inside the cavities of volcanic rock millions of years ago. The variety of colours and minerals that this piece presents are a visual feast. A very decorative piece, displayed on a custom metal stand. The dimensions of the stand can be customized as per client’s request.
