This item is a beautiful hand made porcelain box from the HOI AN HOARD (diameter 6cm). The box dates to the mid- to late-15th century. This unique item belongs to a collection salvaged from a shipwreck found in the deep sea of Vietnam.

I selected this piece as it is a very rare item and is certified legal as shown by the collection number (photo). The colour is cobalt blue glaze faded due to sea burial and the shape is perfectly proportioned. the design looks like a poppy flower bud or a half orange .. interpret it yourself!

The item is in very good condition and I adore the worn blue collar of the design. As the pictures show, this is a genuine an legal piece from the HOI AN with the original inventory tag and unique number.
